DSA qualified driving instructor serving Chesterfield and the surrounding areas
About Me
I served in the Derbyshire Police for 20 years and drove just about every type of vehicle you can imagine. I was trained to the highest possible standards and qualified as an Advanced Driver, gaining a class 1 grade – the highest possible.
I then worked as an instructor teaching Police officers to drive to the required standard. After I retired from the Police service it was a natural step to become an Approved Driving Instructor.
I completed my training and qualification period, passing my exams first time and qualified as a Department of Transport Approved Driving Instructor (DOT ADI) and placed on the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) register.
I am a very experienced driver instructor. I have taught people of all ages and many different nationalities. I am used to learner drivers who are nervous pupils, people with learning difficulties, low confidence levels, people who are dyslexic, etc. In fact, I have the skills to adapt to an individual’s needs and tailor driving lessons to suit each individual.
